Why Choose Alpha Delta Chi?
To find your girls!

"I transferred to UA from New York going into my sophomore year, and I didn't know anyone else on campus. I didn't think that I wanted to go through recruitment because I didn't think I would fit in at a sorority, but then I found out about Alpha Delta Chi's info meets and decided to give it a try. I ended up loving it and decided to go through recruitment and found my home away from home. The sisters of this sorority have become some of my best friends and I know that these friendships will last a lifetime!"

"Before College and even my first semester of freshman year I was super against being in a sorority. I wasn't interested in partying, and that's what I thought all sorority girls did. The spring of my freshman year, one of the girls down the hall from me in Tutwiler forced me to come to an ADChi info meet, and I mean FORCED me to. When we signed in, I wrote my name as messily as I could in hopes no one would be able to read it and that these people wouldn't send me any emails about something I wasn't interested in doing at all. Well, turns out they could read my messy handwriting anyways and somehow I ended going through recruitment without even realizing what I was doing. And let me tell y'all- it was the BEST thing that has happened to me while I have been at UA. Through ADChi I have found my home away from home and some of my best friends who encourage me to live more like Jesus every single day and to do my best at everything I do. I have learned so much about myself and have grown in ways that wouldn't be possible without this organization. I am beyond thankful that that girl forced me to go to an info meet because it forever changed my life for the better. God sure does work in funny ways."

"As a Junior transfer student to UA, I wasn't sure that I would ever have enough time to find a group that I truly belonged to... I knew some ADX sisters through a friend who was a member, and decided to rush for myself in the Fall of 2016. I participated in formal recruitment at another university and found that it was not the right fit, so the more laid back recruitment for ADX was intriguing and ended up being perfect for me! I am so thankful to be at this wonderful University, and so incredibly blessed to have found a group that shares my values. I was searching for a group that would help strengthen me in my walk with Christ, encourage me in all aspects of my life, and give me a home and family away from home: with ADX, I found that and much much more!"

"My freshman year I saw a chalking for an ADChi info meet with my roommates when we went to dinner at Burke and they said I HAD to go, after spending a few hours on the website and Instagram feed and talking to my mom I decided that it couldn't hurt to go and see what it was about. Every day of recruitment I didn't want to go back- I felt so awkward but every person was so kind to me that I found myself back the next night. Needless to say I have never stopped going back to ADChi. Through our sisterhood I have made the absolute best memories, learned to love Jesus better everyday, and have found sisters who have become my best friends (and will one day be my bridesmaids). When college gets hard (and boy does it get hard) I am thankful that I can go to my sisters for comfort, love and laughter. Lamb Love and Roll Tide always."
